I had a parathyroidectomy on Monday. The tumor was removed. My parathyroid hormone- and calcium- levels have dropped to normal levels. It has been a long journey and a scary ordeal. I just have to heal and recover from the surgery. I am on the mend.
I will post more information later.
I apologize for not writing or posting for some time. I have been having contrast scans,ultrasounds, blood tests every week. I should have surgery within a month and hopefully on the road to recovery. Thanks for being patient. Our fingers are itching to get back to my garden. We are planning what we can plant this year. We went out to lunch today and talked about what we should plant and when. We have missed it. It will be small but it will be our own little slice of heaven. Almost 3 years to getting a diagnosis, treatment and being so sick.
