We were admiring the fall colors and stopped at a church to take picture of it inside and out. Unfortunately the grounds keeper said the Church was closed for the season. That was the first time that we have ever heard of a church that was closed for the season.

When we entered the grounds we saw a stone that said “Tänk på döden”, which means Think about Death. I have never seen such a sign before outside of a church.

  1. Looks kind of spooky!

  2. This all seems very strange………..and it makes me want to be able to go in and take a closer look inside.

    • I guess we can go back during the summer season to see inside the church and revisit the grave yard.
We took a picture of one tree stump that was eerie looking. The photo was blurred so badly we threw it away.

  3. I think the sign think about death may go along the lines of Ecclesiastics were it mentions about going to the house of morning or in other wards thinking about your friend or family member dying helps you to see how precious life is and what you are doing with yours while you still have life because as The writer of Ecclesiastics goes on to say do all in your power while you are alive because there is no working neither rejoicing in the place you are going – in other words the grave of inactivity
