  1. My grandmother made a lot of good treats as well 😊

    • Grandmothers are special creatures. I have a few cherished memories of my grandmother, before she was paralized by a serious of strokes. I remember a group of my cousins and myself helping ourselves to her candied apples, that were cooling on her enclosed back porch. Her catching us literally red handed (and red faced). She acted like she didn’t see it smeered with red sticky goo all over our faces. She just laughed and told us how she would scold the culprits, who ever stole her candy apples. She had a hard time suppressing her laughter. She is long dead, but I carry her in my heart always.
