I liked this post on her attempt to recycle and how she did it. I think we all need to see what we can do to make a difference, because every little bit counts.

I don’t do personal new year’s resolutions. I don’t want to limit myself to starting fresh once a year. I’m human and make mistakes often. But my Etsy shop is another story. Running a small craft business can create a lot of waste. You’ve got fabric scraps, paper scraps, old paint, etc. Some of these things can be recycled, upcycled, or reused, but some cannot.

I was hoping to make my shop a little greener this year. I think I’ll do so by saving paper from now on. There are many ways to green your business or home. Using less paper will be huge for me. Here are a few examples of the paper I’ll be able to do without and what I’ll be doing in place of it:

  • Paper towels – I use paper towels in many different crafts, but I use LOTS of paper towels when I color skewers. I color…

  1. One lady and her two children here were I live have made most of there home furnishings out of pure cardboard – for the same purpose – too reuse and recycle.
