RIP Buster

I haven’t written for a while, because I have tried to learn how to run a blog. I have tried to make sense of the tutorials on WordPress.com. Those of you that have followed my blog I am sure have giggled on all the edits, that I have had to make continuously to correct mistakes that I had made. I am slowly, but surely learning how to navigate this maze.

We are mourning the loss of our neighbors dog who we just found out was put-down on Thursday. Buster fell ill last week. He had a bone that lodged in his throat which got infected. He was on medication to combat the infection but he succumb to it. It is heartbreaking that he is gone. He was just shy of four years old.

What hit us even harder was that Buster’s family had been really worried about him because he refused to go outside. They said they felt like he had lost the will to live. Wednesday he apparently had his final surge and went outside to come visit us. We heard him scratch at our door. My husband let him in to warm up and say hello to our dogs and us. He just wanted to have his head scratch and cuddled. What we didn’t realize at the time was that he had come by to say goodbye to all of us.

After leaving us, Buster collapsed when he got home. They rushed him to the nearest Veterinarian hospital. His health steadily deteriorated from there. He will be sorely missed. RIP my friend.

Buster
